Mandi is a traditional dish originating in Yemen and is very popular in the Middle East. This dish, quite similar to the famous Indian biryani, is prepared with meat (chicken or lamb), basmati rice deliciously flavoured with spices, all smoked with coal shavings to give a unique characteristic taste.
